Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is the type of that occurs in women at time gestation or pregnancy. Prevalence GDM increasing worldwide. Yearly 21 million new cases are reported. A normal pregnancy itself linked with unique physical and psychological challenges which documented by medical fraternity. But no mention made on complaints specific to pregnant diagnosed have diabetes. It well significant distress level because it demands many lifestyle changes a challenging condition. stands reason diabetic will be stress. Maternal exposure stress can adversely affect health both foetus mother. Stress also management influencing diet compliance, medication adherence blood glucose monitoring. Studies stated cause hyperglycaemia altering hormone balance body. Therefore any action plan for must include proper obtain desired outcome. Customised scales available measure related there was scale scale. This study undertaken develop mobile application based GDM. called Diabetes Scale (GDSS) developed introduced through application. 16 item GDSS gives total score four subscale scores. mean greater than equal 3 indicates need clinical attention. The used overall patient. And scores identify possible sources stress, means whether due emotional burden and/or care set up economic social relationship thus allows professional manage accordingly, thereby gap measuring gestational bridged all needed patients providers use it.
